Samantha Lombardo, BVetMed
Neurology Resident
Dr. Lombardo was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of California at Davis and her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in the UK. After completing her BVetMed in the UK, Dr. Lombardo completed a rotating internship and a neurology specialty internship at VCA’s Animal Specialty Group in Glendale, CA before being accepted into the VNC’s residency program. She became interested in neurology after observing her first neurological examination, "I was fascinated by the problem-solving aspect of neurolocalization and its utility in narrowing down possible diagnoses and treatment." She is passionate about all aspects of neurology with a special interest in long-term management of inflammatory diseases of the nervous system and epilepsy.
