Neurology Resident

Dr. Shoup was born in Rochester, New York and raised in Dallas, Texas. Her interest in neurology first began after learning about the action potential of the neuron during undergraduate school. Dr. Shoup enjoys all aspects of neurology but has a special interest in neurosurgery, in particular, advanced neurosurgical procedures involving stabilization and neuro-oncology. Dr. Shoup has a personal interest in marine mammals after having participated in a care and training internship with the US Navy Marine Mammal Program in 2012.
